But due to the hacks, it has quite high compatibility. Can use CD images directly as well like mednafen.)ģ) Ootake (This emulator has hundreds of per game hacks and is one of the most inaccurate. Has GUI and tons of other features and should have high compatibility. Unlike Magic Engine, can use cuesheets/CD ROM images directly (instead of using something like Daemon tools etc.))Ģ) Turbo Engine (written by me. QUOTE (I used MagicEngine are there even any other good TG16/PCE emulators out there? :P)ġ) Mednafen (the most accurate right now but requires command line. Spoken by Eragon, to attempt to free himself from Murtaghs magic in the. To do this, you must connect the Magic ISO Maker to a USB port on your computer and follow the on-screen instructions. Almost 99% of the dumps are all bad and ISO/MP3 craps.Īlso from what mednafen's author told me, you should use good quality CD-Rs and don't use them for too long as they reduce the life of the CD-ROM on the unit. When using the Magic ISO Maker, you will need to burn the image file onto a blank CD-R (the drive that is recognised by Windows as having the ability to boot up). Make sure the images are good and not bad dumps. I've also tried burning with Nero and ImgBurn-I was gonna try DiscJuggler, but I seem to have turned my entire stack of blank CD-Rs into coasters, so I'd rather figure out what the problem is before I waste another box.Īnyone have any idea how I'm fucking this up? I couldn't find an actual guide on how I'm supposed to burn these things, but the general consensus seems to be that any burning program will work as long as the CUE sheet is correct, which I'm pretty sure it is-just to be safe, I've tried both an ISO/WAV combo that came with a CUE sheet and a BIN/CUE. (Interestingly, MagicEngine gives a "disc error" on the intro screen while the console just gets stuck on "Just a moment." and tries to read the disc forever.) The images I'm using run fine in an emulator (I used MagicEngine are there even any other good TG16/PCE emulators out there? :P), but when I burn them to a disc, they won't run in either an emulator or the actual console. From what I've read, it's supposed to be able to read burned games with no problems, but I can't seem to get it to work, and I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong while burning the discs.
